Gee (Georgina) is a New Zealand registered Occupational Therapist with experience working across both Aotearoa and the UK. She’s supported tamariki and rangatahi with a wide range of developmental needs in specialist schools, private clinics, homes, and community spaces.
Gee is passionate about providing therapy that’s neuro-affirming, strengths-based, and culturally responsive. She has a special interest in supporting emotional regulation, feeding, and helping tamariki build the skills they need to thrive in everyday life. Her approach is playful, creative, and tailored to each child, and she values the strong relationships she builds with tamariki and their whānau.
Gee is also passionate about education and advocacy. She’s delivered workshops and training across the UK in schools and homes on topics like understanding sensory processing, creating sensory-safe classrooms, behaviour and emotional regulation, feeding challenges, and interoception. She’s a keen learner herself and has continued to build her knowledge through the following courses:
- SOS Approach to Feeding
- Autism Level UP: Bringing the Energy
- Interoception & Sensory Safety in Schools
- Primitive Reflexes Workshop
- DIR Floortime 101
- Sensory Integration (UK)
- The Full Spectrum of Play Conference
When she’s not working, Gee loves reading, dancing, spending time with her whānau in Wellington, and getting out to explore the beautiful places around Aotearoa.
