Occupational Therapist

Ella loves to create fun and meaningful learning experiences for children to help them reach their potential. She enjoys instilling and building confidence in the children she works with and helping them overcome their challenges.

Ella has worked as an outdoor instructor at school camps and holiday programs and has experience as a caregiver/respite provider for children. Ella has a Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy).

Ella’s recognises the importance of an individualised play based approach and through this approach sees the children develop their skills and achieve their goals. Ella forms wonderful rapports with the children she works with. It is important to Ella that children leave her therapy session feeling confident and happy and their families feel supported to implement strategies at home and at school.

Ella is always seeking to develop her clinical knowledge to improve her service. She has a strong interest in supporting and developing children’s engagement and participation in the school and kindy environment.

• Te Rito o Te Harakeke
• Lego Therapy
