Occupational Therapist

Durham is a passionate paediatric occupational therapist dedicated to client and Whānau centred care.

Durham has background experience in support work, mental health, addictions and paediatrics, Durham holds a strong belief in tailoring interventions to individual needs.

With passionate interests in emotional regulation, sensory integration and helping neurodiverse young people to flourish, he aims to create a supportive and collaborative learning environment for children and their families.

Through developing a strong connection and taking the time to listen and understand the nature of each young person’s life, Durham prides himself on being able to approach occupational therapy sessions from an individualised, practical and holistic standpoint.

Durham is a dedicated musician, runner, surfer, uncle, dog father. Embracing cultural sensitivity, Durham actively engages in continuous learning to provide personalised and inclusive therapeutic experiences.

Durham has completed his formal training in Lego Therapy, and Working with ADHD – Optimizing Success.
